This website is a translation of a small part of my slotbaer website.
It concentrates on the internals of current digital slot car systems. It does not tell you
about available cars and tracks, but how the systems work internally.
Please keep in mind that English is not my mother tongue. There will be many flipped or missing characters.
This will get better over time, because with time I will reread the texts and get rid of more and more errors.

Once in a while I get a complain about describing so many projects on the German website and not doing much on the English one.
So for once I translated two videos about projects into English.

The lastes projects are:
KE - Kontrolleinheit is a replacement for the forthcoming carrera controlunit and it's sattelites. It offers all of control units features (as they are known up to now) nd than some on top of them.
IRRER - Infrared Receiver is a small add on to allow old and new Wireless controllers to be used with new blackboxes.
PRGGER - The Programmer ais a standalone device that simplifies the process of setting car ids, top speed, max. fuel and brakesetting.
START LIGHTS - Start lights that work synchronously with the BB's build in startlight. designed or newer BBs, which send the start light data over the rails.

describes the hardware and data protocols behind the Carrera digital system. It tells you also about the Infrared controllers and shows a way to run analog and digital cars on the same track, using the same controllers and lap counter.
